This does not feel like a real MLB baseball. Also no, it's not good for autographs as there's writing or logos on all the "sweet spots". And sharpies don't adhere well to synthetic. Use ONLY ballpoint pens if you want to use it for autographs. **Q: This ball feels lighter than i remember using in high school and college. is it a different weight than official mlb balls?** A: This baseball is not intended to be used in games. Especially high school or college. It should however be the same approx. weight as an MLB baseball. It comes with only an unofficial baseball with and "Official Team Logo".
