I used it on a steel railing that had some peeled paint. I steel brushed it, sprayed this primer and then a top coat of high gloss black. Good so far. **Q: Can this be used on Formica after being sanded?** A: Universal Bonding Primer is intended for difficult surfaces like galvanized metal, but it may be OK on Formica.
