It's a good upper-midrange driver sound, clean, with no ringing. I run it through a tube amp to get distortion, but I've checked it clean and it plays clean very well. I assume you have bolted up a horn. These drivers are designed to work with a horn and might make weird noises without one or with too wide of one. It's also designed to not play frequencies below 500hz and it will definitely make bad noises and eventually blow up if you do. If you have a horn, I'd check to make sure the ringing isn't coming from the horn resonating or not being secured to the driver tightly. If you have a pair, check whether both are ringing or just one. If it's not the horn and one is ringing but not the other, trade drivers and see if the ringing follows the driver or the horn. If only one driver makes the sound, you have a bad driver that needs to be replaced. If both are ringing, you may need to check crossovers to make sure it's not sending low frequencies (below 500 hz) to the drivers. Or your amp or other component. **Q: Can this give u tweeters** A: Midrange , speaker indoors outdoor u will need a horn to get better sound out off it.
