Kohler does not make that easy. A special aerator key is needed. I couldn't find one locally and checked desertcart and found this. I bought this one because it was inexpensive and worth a try. It worked. I tried cleaning the existing aerator but the flow was still not good so I tried the new aerator and it works better that the original. I went back on desertcart and bought 3 more! The key is plastic and I don't expect it to last long so it is nice to have several. If water flow becomes compromised again I may just try cleaning the aerator rather than replacing it. This filter was exactly what I was looking for and it arrived the next day. Ten minutes later this filter was installed on two faucets and the water returned to levels of the faucet when it was new. The price was half what the hardware store were charging for a knockoff.
