I learned the life lesson. Putting model planes together takes time, a dedicated space, specialized tools and supplies, and is well worth the effort! As a first time modeler I remember first being surprised by how small the pieces were. I also learned that having good tools and supplies, like glue and paint, is important to a successful build. Well, I got the job done. Sent captioned pictures of the process to my grandchild and gave the finished plane to him when he came to visit last month. I will say that perhaps my biggest problem was the size of some of the pieces. I could barely see them! But I will say that all the pieces, no matter how small, fit well. I learned some techniques that made the process easier. Seems like a good quality kit. My grandson and I were both very happy with the result, even with the mistakes and the adjustments I made to accommodate my arthritic hands!
