As well, I think the higher dollar options have better mousepads. They seem to interchangeable though, so you might be able to order better parts if you like the base model. **Q: Is there a left handed version?** A: No. **Q: Is this the mechanical version?** A: There are two different types. I went with the mechanical. The switches are very nice. Not too loud for me, but I like the clacks and tactile feedback.
