Review: Beautiful paint - It's a learning curve on applying, covered nice with no running, but if you hold the can further away the results are a lighter blue. I had to respray my gas tank. Unlike other paints do not wet sand before applying clearcoat, you will disrupt the metal flakes. I waited 3 days before applying the clearcoat. I used Spraymax 2K clearcoat. Considering I'm a novice, it turned out really good.

It's a learning curve on applying, covered nice with no running, but if you hold the can further away the results are a lighter blue. I had to respray my gas tank. Unlike other paints do not wet sand before applying clearcoat, you will disrupt the metal flakes. I waited 3 days before applying the clearcoat. I used Spraymax 2K clearcoat. Considering I'm a novice, it turned out really good.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleased!

I'm pretty pleased with this paint, especially considering it's a rattle can. I was curious about the results using different base colors. I did a quick test using identical pieces, one primed flat black and another unprimed with its original beige color. The black primed piece is on the left. For my purposes, I sort of like the beige base better but honestly, with a second coat it isn't likely to make a huge difference. The coverage is good and it seemed to exit the can evenly. No runs, no uneven bursts. I applied it outdoors in low humidity, temps around 65-70°F, on an overcast afternoon with no breeze. I also bought a can of the green to try. After good results with the red I'm optimistic about this product in other colors for my needs.
