Rear liftgate support(s) force, in full open position, feels about the same as when vehicle was new. The rear window support(s) force, in full open position, feels slightly higher than when vehicle was new. Rear window support(s) force is not a problem for my Tahoe, but just be mindful that the hinge material on the upper part of the rear window is plastic and might crack (or already be cracked - common problem) if the support force is excessive.
