The part number on the bottom of the mic is the base level part number. Once the mic is packaged with the mic cable it is the 2215 part number. **Q: Can you connect this to a computer** A: No you cant. It can be connected to another polycom mic (as extension mic) or directly to a polycom. **Q: Will this unit work with an ip 6000 conference phone ?** A: No. These mics are for hdx systems and utilize hdmi connection whereas the IP6000 series uses rj11. Hope that helps. **Q: will this work with a polycom vvx 601?** A: Unless you can come up with a special cable adapter, no. The VVX601 has a proprietary minhdmi cable that matches up with the microphone and applicable HDX devices (Like the HDX8000 videoconference system) that the VVX line does not have.
