After doing some research I found that the price of this distributor is a better value then replacing the components in the distributor. New one came in a few days, I swapped it out with my old one and reset timing and the truck is running great. All for less then $50.00. Id call that a win any day of the week.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Direct replacement - works perfectly

Installed in a Crusader 454 marine engine. All electronics worked as expected. Longevity is yet to be determined, but there were no issues with installation or initial performance. I did replace the cap/rotor with Sierra, but not because there was anything wrong with what came with the distributor, just to keep the ignition chain 100% marine for safety purposes.
