Anyone experience this after stringing up their guitar?** A: I'm assuming you put on same gauge strings for it not to be a problem before you restringed the guitar and it only one string in the middle where the neck meets the body I think it's your action and check intonation but that's weird only the d string 🀨 **Q: I don't know what went wrong. A string broke under a week after I put the polyweb mediums on. Why did this happen?** A: The only thing that I know of to cause that is over tension. Which I have done in the past by not realizing that I was tuning the string an octave higher that I should have. I don't remember which string it was but I had over tighten it while watching the tuner and tuned to the wrong octave. The string broke the next day, I ask a luthier what could have happened, he gave me the probable cause. When I replaced the string I was more careful tuning and realized that he was right I had over tighten the string. So that is something to consider as a possible cause. Since that happened a few years ago I have change many strings and never had it happen again. **Q: Why is this cheaper than nanoweb coating?
