Containing dual ball bearings rated at 67,000 hours, the unit can be mounted in any direction. Features a CNC machined aluminum frame with a modern brushed black finish. Fans are set to exhaust air out the frame but this can be reversed to intake air using a screw driver. Includes all necessary hardware to easily mount the unit onto a cabinet and power it through an USB port or standard wall outlet.Speed Controller and Boost AdapterThe in-line multi-speed controller with power switch allows setting the fan’s speed to optimal noise and airflow levels for various environments. The included Boost Adapter not only allows the fan to be powered through a wall outlet, but increases its performance by up to 25%.Connecting Additional UnitsFor cabinets that requires more airflow, each fan unit can daisy chain additional AIRPLATE S series cabinet fans: AIRPLATE S1 (AI-CFS80BA), AIRPLATE S3 (AI-CFS120BA), AIRPLATE S5 (AI-CFD80BA), and AIRPLATE S7 (AI-CFD120BA). Up to six units can share the same USB or wall outlet power source. AIRPLATE S3/T3 contains one fan, AIRPLATE S7/T7 contains two fans, and AIRPLATE S9/T9 contains three fans.ApplicationsThis ultra-quiet cooling system is popular in a variety of applications including home theaters, entertainment centers, and audio video cabinets; and smaller enclosures and racks holding computers, receivers, amplifiers, and other AV equipment. Review: Quality product, well built. Quiet enough. - Used as a "through wall" fan for my office. It is more quiet than my computer fan. I installed it in series with a wall switch, a controlled 110v outlet, and a USB DC converter. The cable and 3-speed selector is hidden in the wall. would have preferred that selector switch to be right on the fan, that would have simplified installation. But I didn't find any such product. So I am satisfied, and I can breathe fresh air. Review: Leiser Lüfter - Extrem leiser Lüfter. Stärke verstellbar. Nutze es oberhalb eines Heizkörper. Damit wird das Schlafzimmer schnell und gleichmäßig warm. ## Features - An ultra quiet fan system designed for cooling cabinets that requires minimal noise. - Features a multi speed controller to set the fans speed to optimal noise and airflow levels. - Contains a CNC machined aluminum frame with a modern brushed black finish. - Powered by wall outlet or USB port, included Turbo Adapter increases performance by 25 percent. - Dimensions: 11.7 x 6.1 x 1.3 in. | Total Airflow: 104 CFM | Total Noise: 19 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009CO543S | | ASIN | B009CO543S | | Air Flow Capacity | 104 Cubic Feet Per Minute | | Best Sellers Rank | #29,432 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #739 in Cabinet Hardware #975 in Cooling Fans | | Brand Name | AC Infinity | | Compatible Devices | Desktop, Gaming Console, Receiver | | Cooling Method | Air | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,599) | | Customer reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,599) | | Date First Available | 10 April 2013 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00854759004068 | | Included Components | Multi-speed controller, 6-foot power cord, Turbo Adapter | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 29.7L x 15.5W x 3.3H centimeters | | Item Weight | 454 g | | Item model number | AI-CFD120BA | | Manufacturer | AC Infinity | | Manufacturer | AC Infinity | | Material Type | Metal | | Model | AI-CFD120BA | | Noise Level | 19 Decibels | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | ACAICFD120BA | | Power Connector Type | 4-Pin | | Product Dimensions | 27.94 x 14.61 x 3.81 cm; 453.59 g | | UPC | 854759004068 882402114604 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Voltage | 240 Volts | | Warranty Description | 1 year warranty covers all defects | | Wattage | 5 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AC Infinity - **Power connector type:** 4-Pin - **Product dimensions:** 29.7L x 15.5W x 3.3H centimeters - **Voltage:** 240 Volts - **Wattage:** 5 watts ## Images ![AIRPLATE S7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12" with Speed Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61AInguAXQL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Set** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I'd like to acquire four of this model: ai-cfd120ba, which operates directly from a computer through usb. please assist me with placing the proper ord** A: Thank you for your inquiry.
