I am intermediate player. But when I play with RPM, I enjoy of simplycity to control the ball because this string shape is octagonal. My tention is 50-52 lbs. Racquet is Babolal Pure Drive GT Plus. Gauge #16 is a little harder but I restrung it back with #17. Trying to play with my racquet my 3 friends also switched to RPM #17 from Natural.Gut. **Q: what would be the perfect string for a babolat pure storm GT racquet** A: Oh wow I haven't met anyone with that in a while. It is a rather stiff raquet if i am not mistaken, I used it a year ago with Luxilon ALU power rough and it felt quite good. If you want a poly string I would recommend that, and if you want a very stiff controlled feel I would go for the babolat RPM blast as shown here. If hybrids are your thing, i highly recommend a mixture of RPM blast in the mains at 53 lbs and Babolat Origin at 55 in the crosses. On my mains I have natural gut, and I string the RPM in my crosses to help with spin. It has definitely helped but haven't noticed anything to major. Overall good string, reminder to not take it out of the packaging unless you will restring your racket yourself, otherwise leave the unpacking for the stringing technicians. It keeps it's tension pretty well, and doesn't fall apart.
