Review: Didn't help - Finished the whole bottle already with the daily written doses However there was no changes unfortunately Review: Kennel cough ran through our house and my first dog got it and it took me a few days before getting this product but when I did I immediately started dosing my second dog as well. The second dog got kennel cough too but WAY milder than my first dog. If you know your dog might have been exposed to kennel cough give this to them right away before any symptoms appear and it'll help a lot. It did help my first dog too as once I started giving her this this she was coughing less and was more comfortable and recovered quickly. Does it treat the cause of the coughing (such as congestion), or just treat for the symptom (coughing)?** A: I’m not a veterinarian, but homeopathic remedies typically do more than just treat a symptom. My dog has collapsing trachea, which causes her to cough after she drinks water. When you have enough water that went the wrong direction and into the windpipe/lungs you’re going to have a dog that’s coughing on a regular basis. I tried this stuff not really expecting anything. Within two days the cough was drastically reduced. She still coughs after drinking water, but all the coughing in between is gone. I ordered a second bottle and misplaced it, and the coughing came back after about three days. I ordered a third bottle and started the drops up again and had the same positive results. This stuff is staying in my arsenal. I find that you can reduce the dose as the cough subsides. I don’t stop it anymore. I just drastically reduced it. The cough is still gone. **Q: Has anyone used this long term?** A: I am on my second bottle....my dog gets severe asthma, since I have used this product it has been dramatically improved..... I must say that I use it combined with Nature Sunshine liquid Echinacea and Lobelia combo. I use a small syringe and mix both the homeopet with Echinacea/lobelia approx. 5 to 6 drops of each on a teaspoon and I add water to the mix...enough to fill up the syinge. My dog weighs approx. 6 lbs. I give it for him for two or three days and then repeat only if he has an attack.... His attacks have been fewer and not no where near as bad as before. He has gone as long as two weeks without an attack...which is usually just during the winter months. Hope this helps! **Q: How long did the product take to work?** A: It is always a individual thing on response but most pets should experience some relief the first 24 hours if the product is used soon after the cough started. If it is a heart failure cough then the response would not be as good in response as compared to a respiratory type cough. **Q: Can I used it for a guinea pig?** A: I'm not sure. The pictures on the box were of a bird,dog and cat. If I were you I would try calling a vet and ask him or her if you could use it on your pet. I would imagine if a bird could take it then your guinea pig could. A bird is delicate. If a bird can take it then a guinea pug could. He has codeine from the vet which doesn’t always help, when his cough is bad we use this and it really improves his symptoms quickly & makes him more comfortable.
