Review: Good quality and work well for chemo! - Bought both some healthy hands and some suzipads to wear through chemo. These are higher quality and I preferred them. The suzzipads are much thinner and warm up faster. I admit It’s miserable to wear (did both my hands and feet) and I rotated my sets in and out of a cooler with dry ice so I always had a really cold set on throughout my sessions, but sooo worth it. My type of chemo is notorious for leaving you with lifelong painful neuropathy in hands and feet and I made it through without any neuropathy at all! These are great quality and I highly recommend.

They are well-crafted from quality materials. They feel nice against the skin. The gel packs are shaped to fit the mitts. There's a gel pack on both sides of your hand. Each gel pack has its own pocket, and then your hand goes in the middle, protected by soft cloth on both sides of your hand. The gel packs are in soft pouches that seem somewhat flexible after a few minutes out of the freezer (unlike the typical ones that stay more rigid). They cover your entire hand, and for some, part or all of your wrist depending on how long your fingers are. Possible "cons": They come out of the freezer fairly rigid and it's initially a little hard to wiggle your hand inside, although they become more flexible after a few minutes. You need to freeze the whole shebang together with the gel packs already inside the mitts, because it can be a little difficult to get a frozen gel pack inside the mitt. It would be good if they made the flaps maybe half an inch longer to cover the ends of the gel packs more securely. The all-around coolness is great, but if you have really bad pain in your fingers you're going to want to hold the mitt with your other hand against your fingers to get the maximum coolness right where it hurts. Might be good to have a band of some kind to wrap around the finger part. A couple of good points: I put mine in the freezer for just one hour (usually takes around 5 hours they say) and the one hour made them moderately cool and I got some good relief right away. If you only have one hand that hurts, then you can have a second round with the other mitt later. You can also lay them on top of your forehead for a headache; these are heavy enough to stay put if you're lying down. And if you have a hurt on your knee you can simply lay your hand with the mitt on your knee and it does double duty, cooling both hand and knee. There is nothing else on the market that remotely compares with these mitts, and I highly recommend them. I got the smaller size because my hands are small/medium and there's plenty of room. They cost a lot, but if you have hand pain you will be satisfied with them.

Bought both some healthy hands and some suzipads to wear through chemo. These are higher quality and I preferred them. The suzzipads are much thinner and warm up faster. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the cost, excellent product!

I was a little skeptical at first considering I have wasted money on products that didn’t last or hold up. But these gloves feel amazing and the gel texture adds an extra layer of comfort instead of putting a solid brick on your hands. I not only endure horrible chemo Mondays but also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cervical Neuropathy that extends to my fingers. The arthritis itself is immensely painful, especially after working a physically demanding job. These gloves are like heaven. They coat your hands from the top and bottom and extend just past the wrist where I also have pain. They also have a little weight to them which is nice in my opinion as it keeps me in a relaxed position. I have large inflamed hands normally and I ordered the large/xl. There was still some room to double up on ice packs or even compression gloves if necessary, but honestly it’s not even needed. I am going to invest in extra ice packs though as a back up spare to rotate. If you truly have unbearable hand pain, these are worth it!!!
