Is it Gluten Free or not?** A: I came across this question while answering another. I've purchased and used NeoCell products since 2013 when I first discovered their Super Collagen Powder. Glow Matrix does not contain gluten protein and has been tested by an independent 3rd party lab (the brand's national educator, Tim Mount, confirmed this). On the label, NeoCell states at the bottom, under the Supplement Facts panel, "***The wheat has been processed to allow this to meet the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for gluten free food." However, they use an OIL from wheat (which does not contain the gluten protein) called a ceramide which has been clinically tested to improve skin hydration. They acknowledge that Glow Matrix contains a part of the wheat plant and state, "Allergy Warning: Contains Wheat***". I hope this clarifies that wheat does not equal gluten. Glow Matrix can use the wheat plant and still be gluten free, both of which are on the label. **Q: Are the capsules suppose to smell like rant oil or do I have a bad bottle?** A: You definitely got an expired bottle. I was honestly surprised by how well this worked and did not expect it to work as well as it has. It really does moisturize your skin from the inside. It's hard to explain, but I can slap a ton of moisturizer on my face and it'll do its job, but it just doesn't get deep enough to fully relieve the skin. After using this, however, my skin has never felt so hydrated and comfortable. I think that's the biggest thing is that it's not only moisturized but comfortable. I no longer have any lingering tightness in my skin that topical moisturizers couldn't relieve. Not only that, but I've gotten little to no acne since using this. I don't have terrible acne like I used to, but I was still getting persistent breakouts. Now I don't at all. If you suffer from an uncomfortable sense of dryness in your skin then I'd HIGHLY recommend this product.
