Warm or hot can cause cracks apparently. Works great! **Q: How many ounces of liquid does the cup hold?** A: The cup holds 24 ounces, but, if you put that much liquid in, the kava will be very diluted. Also, the ball won't move around much, which defeats the purpose of this gadget. So I'd use 12 ounces of liquid, at most, or a larger container and 2 balls. **Q: Could you just use any protien shaker with kava?** A: I wouldn't. You don't really want to drink the root, just infuse the water with it. A protein shaker would just mix it all together. This shaker holds the root and strains the water through it, giving you the goodness of the kavalactones without all the floaties. **Q: Can you re-use kava from the ball after one mix?** A: i wouldn’t personally do that unless i was completely out and desperate. lol I'm sure you can get some out to drink but it’s kinda like trying to re use coffee grounds. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GET THIS NOW! Did traditional brewing methods, 100% according to direction (be careful with the brewing temperature, it's odd, and if you don't follow the right temperature, it won't work right. But this little device 1) makes better (more potent and powerful) Kava than any other method I've tried (including tinctures, capsules and others), 2) Is SUPER easy to use 3) Works in seconds, 4) is very easy to clean 5) looks like any other meatheads protein shake bottle (so no questions from co-workers). If you have issues with anxiety, GET THIS NOW! As a life long sufferer of sever anxiety, I can tell you without hyperbole that one shaker full, made right, with good Kava, gives me faster and better anxiety relief than Valium/Klonopin/etc. It doesn't last as long, but it isn't as hellishly addictive as the benzos mentioned above.
