**Q: Are the pins plastic or metal?**
A: Pins are metal.  This is the best pin brush on the market.  I lose them all the time (despite putting my name and number on them) and I give them to new puppy owners.  I buy probably ten of them a year.  I highly recommend it.  I have bred champion Borzoi for 25 years and this is the brush I use.

I've used the #! All systems pin brushes to groom my show poodles for years. They can be used on any long coated breed of dog, but are especially suited to the long coats of show poodles. Previously only available in black, they are now offered in several colors. These brushes aren't designed for poodles clipped short. For these I recommend the #1 All Systems pin brush.

    Best brush I have ever purchased

I have had many horrible dog brushes where the bristles disappear into the rubber, but not this one.  This is by far the best brush I have purchased.  My only small complaint is that the handle is not that comfortable to hold onto.  I think your hand would start to hurt if you were brushing dogs for hours.  My dog is 60 lbs with a long hair and an thick undercoat and this brush works great.  The bristles are long enough to get down to the undercoat.

It was exactly what I wanted. I bought one awhile back, and was looking for another one. It's gently with long bristles. Great for my American Eskimo long coat with an undercoat.
