This product is very sticky, my makeup looked horrible over this product, even using it at night & waiting awhile before going to bed, my face would stick to my pillow, I didn't like this product at all & I typically love NYX products **Q: does it firm the skin** A: Face products that contain collagen are not beneficial. Collagen is too thick and just sits on your face wasting away. Only way to benefit from collagen is drinking it every morning with your coffee or smoothie in powder form. Stay away from face or body products that say they contain collagen to help with impurities that's just a way of hiking up prices. This product is not selling as a face firming serum so they are not trying to scam you, I will purchasing for the gold dewy look but I'm aware it will do nothing more then that. **Q: I'm super unfamiliar with make up and how it works, can someone explain how I should use this? Can I use it just by itself or with other products?** A: I use it under my makeup to make everything sit properly on the skin and it makes the skin more glowy. You can definitely use it without makeup if you don't wear other products, but I recommend putting a thin layer under the products you usually use (foundation, blush, etc) **Q: Does this prevent foundation from creasing? About how long would it last using it ever day?** A: It wears off before noon! And it makes my face extremely oily. There's 2 versions and the new one is vegan and I'm going to assume it doesn't have propolis in it. Propolis an ingredient derived from animal (bees) by-product. It's so good for my skin personally. It's very calming and moisturizing. I love the scent It's barely there and just fresh clean and healthy. This stuff Aries a wee bit stringy and messy but my God is it worth it. If you get a little on your hands or other skin, just rub it in. This makes me makeup apply just beautifully. I prefer gel based products because I love that glide feeling. I only have 1 gel based foundation (Chantecaille future skin) and it's so expensive I hate to think that I'm using so much. With this as a base I use less and it goes so much further. My skin is dewey and glowy, just tacky enough for makeup to stick but it doesn't feel like I have a layer of oil on my skin either. I just love this stuff. I'm terrified that they're going to sell out of the old formula so I keep buying bottles whenever I get the chance. I hope Nyx at some point realizes that if they have a good thing they don't have to give in the market pressure of " vegan" or "clean" beauty. Not everyone feels the need to have all vegan products.Anyway, this stuff is liquid gold for me. I very very rarely wear glam makeup, if at all anymore. It's mostly just everyday work makeup looks now. But that's when this stuff is at its best. It's not like their marshmallow pore filling primer. It's a hydrating primer, so for lighter coverage foundations or skin tints, this stuff is the bee's knees. (Get it? ... cuz "honey")If you have dry skin or dehydrated skin, winter skin, if you're like me and are prescribed trentinoin or are on acne medication, this may help a lot. I know that for myself it doesn't break me out whatsoever. I'm very very very very happy to have to only this primer for the rest of my life.
