Some smaller companies disclose this info on their packaging since they also test, but for most companies the testing is lousy. This company does not disclose it on their packaging. In Canada they tested teas and only one brand passed out of many. Same in Europe. Only 5-10% passed. **Q: Is this 100% pure Ceylon tea or are tea leaves from other regions mixed in?** A: It was claimed to be 100% Ceylon tea - but the taste was not like many other Ceylon teas. We did not like it very much and will not be buying it again. **Q: How does this tea compare with darjeeling tea with regard to flavor not color as darjeeling tea has a very light color?** A: Similar to color. Ceylon is full body tea vs. darjeeling - light tea. **Q: Does this Ceylon have any trace of smoky flavor? I mean even a tiny, momentary hint... making you pause to wonder if that's what you tasted?** A: I did not detect any unusual flavor. We love this tea. There is not bitter taste.
