So far I only have two hikes on them, for a total of about 6.12 miles…. But; i did about 1,650’ of ascent in that time, in rocky terrain, really pushing on the poles while climbing. They show very little wear, and I’m 195 lbs, not going easy, and the rock is Jackfork Sandstone; VERY gritty and abrasive. I’m looking at one of my poles right now, with a new one next to it. The stock models lasted me LESS than one hike of shorter average distance and ascent, and were completely worn thru on the bottom!🤛👎😣 The rear facing cleats really help with traction when going uphill in the dry dirt, gravel and rock where I hike. For the cost, if I needed to replace these after 8-10 average hikes, that’s worth it to me!🤘 Review: It works!! - Easy to install, very sturdy and looks to last many miles. Great value for your money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At least the equal to original trekking pole tips, maybe better. *by O***G on September 19, 2021* I purchased these replacement tips after losing one of the original tips while clearing brush along a tree line on my property. Couldn't find the darned thing in the leaves and debris. The replacement tips arrived promptly and fit the trekking pole tightly. The tips seem to be a little bit stiffer than the originals, but the rubber is pliant enough to give excellent traction on smooth surfaces.
