The cheap stuff. Then we leave the room for a few hours and check back. Usually, the color completely disappears or drips down into the tub to be wiped clean. Sometimes, I have to spray it another time or two. I almost wrote the product off after scrubbing the first time, but I remembered the bleach spray/hair color trick and it worked like a charm. **Q: product descip says non toxic, what exactly are these made from?** A: My guess would be a non toxic wax with dyes. If you run water over the words, they will eventually drip down into a puddle of wax (very easy to clean off tile/tub with proper cleaner/brush). I love mine! **Q: Will they mark on skin?** A: We had a very hard time trying to wash this off skin. There must be some variability in the product or they go bad because I see people writing that these wash off, but this was an absolute nightmare for us to try to wash off both skin and tub. We only tried the red crayon but kid still had marks after scrubbing a long time. **Q: I had to scrub a few times to wash off. Not as easy as it says. Just with water?** A: First time, cursed it and almost tossed them. It was pretty tough to scrub off. Second time, sprayed with bathroom spray with bleach - cheap kind - and it dissolved on its own. A few spots colored with extra force took 2-3x of the spray.
