I was actually given one of these as a birthday gift and had never used a beauty blender before. Straight away I could see why people rate them – it applied my makeup beautifully and gave such a smooth, flawless finish. I ended up losing it and when I went to replace it, I tried to save money and bought a cheaper version instead… and wow, you can tell the difference. The cheaper ones just didn’t blend the same at all. My makeup didn’t sit as nicely and it never gave that same smooth, airbrushed look. So I came back to this one and there was an instant improvement. It’s really soft, blends product effortlessly, and leaves your makeup looking flawless rather than heavy or patchy. It might seem expensive for a sponge when you can buy a pack of three for the same price, but it genuinely performs better than the cheaper ones. I wouldn’t bother with alternatives again – this is the one to choose!
