Then I unwrapped it and it was HEAVY and bigger than I thought it'd be. I set it on my dining room table thinking that I'd try it and then just return it. Then when I put a cookbook in it it swallowed up the book. Big does not mean bad. I found that I can put 2 big cookbooks on it (side by side) and a 3rd cookbook in front of those two. Well, it is the best designed cookbook holder I have ever found. I do use more than one cookbook at a time and now I have a place to keep them all together, to use one after another. How ingenious is that? I love the Paula Deen design with the rooster on top.
