I purchased for my upper end system. Running 2800 watts through 2 12 evls and thought digitizing the bass and focusing the frequency would make it tighter sounding. My amp already was doing this with subsonic phase and lpf. If you're running a cheaper amp this will give you amp a better sound quality with tweaking, but if you're running Rockford or some other upper tier amp it won't really change a whole lot for you.
