I noticed this visual book for Chinese and also one for Russian, and I immediately bought them. They are exactly what I have been looking for! They are well made, and it is so much fun to go to different sections like fruits and vegetables for example, and pronounce the words out easily, because not only is the Chinese and English there, but also the transliteration of the word. This is a great help for young and old who want to learn a language, and to SEE what it is, and how to pronounce it correctly. The PLUSES are it comes with a FREE audio app and a great index in the back! Well worth the price! I will purchase more in the future when I learn other new languages! Review: Love it! So much detail. - This book is absolutely fantastic for learning every day vocabulary. Most of the language courses that I've seen teach you the basic phrases and you have to rely on google or dictionaries to try and determine what the words are for other items, but the way this is laid out is perfect. And it is extremely in depth with every detail named. Ex: in the picture of a water heater they have it broken down into 10+ words for each little part that you may have to know if yours is having issues. It is amazing how in depth this is. From emotions, to body parts, to hair color, to kitchen utensils, to sports, tools and hardware, gardening, etc. Not really a con but be warned that the human anatomy diagrams are graphic 3D representations and not suitable for children, as you can clearly see the details of the male/female anatomy and names multiple parts of sexual organs. Pros: So much information. Literally everything is labeled. Cons: Tiny print.
