The item does not feel like a $90.00 pole! The product is a scam! Sure, you can get a replacement but it will more than likely break! I am just mad that I have to waste my gas dropping this crap back to the seller.

Rod came in scratched near the grip and the grip has a cut in the foam! It said this was a new rod! And it came damaged

I ordered the 7’1” medium-moderate model of this fishing rod. And to be honest, since I've never heard of Savage Gear, I didn’t have high expectations for this rod. However, if I would have, this rod would have met them. It is designed and built exceptionally well, and it looks really nice/cool too. It is an impressive rod quality-wise, and I/we have been very pleased with it.I ordered the 7’1” medium-moderate model because I only fish in freshwater, I have a strong preference for shorter rods, and I really dislike super stiff (fast/extra fast) rods. Now, with that said, this rod’s stated characteristics are right on target. The rod is not super stiff, and it’s not super/overly flexible either. It’s just about right for most freshwater fishing. However, with that said, I do think this rod’s characteristics are particularly well suited for going after bass and other hard-fighting fish.I don’t know if this rod will just unexpectedly crack or break on me someday, but if I had to guess, I would predict that it won’t. The rod seems super solid, and you can tell there was a good bit of consideration and care that went into the manufacturing process. I really like this rod, and even though I have five other fishing rods I am fond of, I can tell you that I/we will definitely be using this rod with regularity.If you have any questions about this Savage Gear fishing rod, please feel free to ask, and I'll try my best to answer. The media could not be loaded.  This is a quality fishing rod for those who want a rod that is dependable and come through with the big catch. Manufactured by Savage gear, spinning rod series. Comes with stainless steel sea guides and 1DRF technology that gives the rod its durability. It is super lightweight and comes with a 1 year warranty. You get 7ft 1” of moderate strength premium quality. I mounted my spin caster reel with 20lbs fishing line on this rod. This one is ready to go.

This has a real quality look and feel to it. From the handle to the eyes it's a pleasure. It is strong, quick, and feel feather light. I can't wait for the opportunity to use it.

Nice medium fast tip even though it doesn't feel like it would be. Feels heavy but when you cast the speed is there. It is a beautiful rod. This one did have a fleck or two of white paint in random places on the rod. I wasn't sure if that was part of the design or a defect. Still great rod!

Very solid rod. It is long and will be able to cast a country mile. I will be getting a new reel and will use this for bass and other larger fish.The construction is good and it looks like it will hold up well. I will update once it gets more usage in the field.
