I haven't done the burn test to see if the thread burns or melts like another reviewer mentioned, but I'm really hoping this is 100% cotton. I wanted to mention that the inside of the spool is not like regular spools of thread, it's hollow on the inside of the spool. The photo shows something in the middle of the spool, which may or may not make a difference while using. See photo of inside of spool, one is of their stock photo, the other is the one that i received.
