It enables easy installation of any standard 4" tall aftermarket radio without custom fabrication. Made from high-quality ABS plastic with a scratch-resistant matte black finish, it includes all necessary brackets and hardware plus detailed instructions and tech support, ensuring a seamless upgrade to your vehicle’s audio system. ## Description This replacement dashboard panel is engineered to help you install an aftermarket 4" tall (Double-DIN) radio so that you can upgrade the stereo much easier. Since the original dashboard on these older models cannot fit a larger radio, this replacement panel allows you to upgrade to a bigger, modern radio without complex or labor-intensive custom fabrication. It is painted scratch-resistant matte black to match the original look and feel of the vehicle's dashboard. Installing an aftermarket radio can upgrade the sound quality and provide additional features the original factory radio couldn't offer but requires this dash panel to make it fit. ## Features - Large panel replaces the factory dash panel - Provides the space for any standard 4" tall aftermarket radio - Painted scratch-resistant matte black - Due to the age of these vehicles, this kit WILL NOT be an exact color match due to fading of the factory dash - No custom fabrication work is required - Made from the highest quality ABS plastic for an original factory-like fit and finish - Includes brackets and hardware parts needed with detailed installation instructions - A tech support number is available for installation help 7 days a week - Please refer to the Metra Electronics Vehicle Fit Guide for fitment confirmation ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00T8U6EBM | | Best Sellers Rank | #232 in Car Audio & Video Dash Mounting Kits #1,508 in Car Audio & Video Installation Products | | Color | Matte black | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,031) | | Date First Available | November 17, 2015 | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Item model number | DP-3002B | | Manufacturer | Metra | | Other display features | Wireless | | Product Dimensions | 38 x 10 x 8 inches | | Whats in the box | Dash Kit^Hardware^Manual | ## Images ![DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999-2002 GM Full-Size Trucks and SUV's (Matte Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31+878EfkjL.jpg) ![DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999-2002 GM Full-Size Trucks and SUV's (Matte Black) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31gJLkkWniL.jpg) ![DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999-2002 GM Full-Size Trucks and SUV's (Matte Black) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/310dpsCXbVL.jpg) ![DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999-2002 GM Full-Size Trucks and SUV's (Matte Black) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41BochR5UjL.jpg) ![DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999-2002 GM Full-Size Trucks and SUV's (Matte Black) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61bqMUx4bYL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Metra Electronics DP-3002B Double DIN Dash Kit for 1999 - 2002 GM Full-Size Trucks/SUV's (Matte Black) - Metra 701859 Chevy 95-02' Full Size with AMP - Metra Electronics 95-2001 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for Select 1994 - 2012 GM Vehicles (packaging may vary) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/24670202-dp-3002b-double-din-dash-kit-for-1999-2002-gm](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/24670202-dp-3002b-double-din-dash-kit-for-1999-2002-gm) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
