My puppy slept through the night with it without a whimper since she was 7 weeks old. But today dear Flopsie got into a puddle of #1. I put it into one of those washer bags, ran it through on normal cyle (put some spot remover on the spot). It came out clean as a whistle and not one mark on it from washing it. If the child is old enough to recognize one breed of dog from another, this toy won’t fool them. It’s tan and white, not brown. It does not look much like a Shih Tzu. It looks exactly like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. **Q: How wide is this puppy at the shoulders? I want to put him in a small 10" feau fur stocking Thank you** A: This is a very cute, soft, squishy puppy. It will fit great in the stocking!
