These are nice when you have to change the polarity. They work great for when you need to reverse the polarity when using a different set of plug in alligator clips. I don't like putting the black on red and vice versa. These fix that problem, Also good when swapping between a different brand of solar panel that's prewired with a SAE plug that doesn't match your RV wiring.
