Review: Shaving razor turned into a kitchen knife - It is a Spyderco knife, which is enough for me to know that it will be unusually sharp. Though when I first saw this knife, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I started to cut with this knife, I knew this was a genuine Spyderco knife. With this knife I have cut through hunks of beef briskets, vegetables include carrots, cabbages, and potatoes; peel the skin of a pineapple, taken out the core, and cut it into chunks, all done with this knife alone. This knife is excellent for making the spiral cuts to taken out the eyes of pineapple. Slice and dice garlic and onion, this little knife does it all, truly a little knife that can. It has the ergonomic and good balance, but the plastic and tiny stature make it cheap looking. Cutting with this knife is also a learning process. The blade is thin, so there is not much weight behind it, therefore not much of the chopping than the slicing cut motion. Also, the shape, length, and overall size of the knife meant I had to learn how to hold it correctly in order to get the maximum efficiencies from it. I think the tiny hole on the blade is the balance point of the knife, and by placing the index finger or pinching it with the thumb and the index fingers, I can apply the maximum pressure to the knife without losing control and cut myself accidentally. It's a pleasure to cut with this knife, and I am extremely happy to have discovered this little Spyderco beauty.
Review: Wish All My Kitchen Knives Were Spyderco!!! - First off this is a Spyderco household! I love Spyderco knives, most of my EDC knives are Spyderco and I was wondering why we don't use Spyderco knives in the kitchen. So now we do! The blue one picture above is the first one I got and my wife loves it, it's her favorite pairing knife and it's great because it can sit up on its own, as in you can place it up and the blade won't rest on the counter which is probably why it's called the counter puppy, which I also highly recommend. The ZCut though is SUPER SUPER SHARP, really and is great for cutting really anything! Meat, fruits, veggies, plastic whatever! Plus it's really comfortable in the hand and light weight! Really if you know anything about knives you know Spyderco makes great blades...and made in the USA! Plus it's in a cool lime green handle, which matches my green Spyderco salt Native 5 knife. So grab this blade and you won't regret it and at around $30 you can't beat it for getting a USA made sharp quality kitchen knife and Spyderco stands behind their products with an awesome warranty! Not sold yet...well I don't know what else you could want, just get this knife and replace the rest of your boring kitchen knives with Spyderco!

It is a Spyderco knife, which is enough for me to know that it will be unusually sharp. Though when I first saw this knife, I wasn't sure what to expect, but once I started to cut with this knife, I knew this was a genuine Spyderco knife. With this knife I have cut through hunks of beef briskets, vegetables include carrots, cabbages, and potatoes; peel the skin of a pineapple, taken out the core, and cut it into chunks, all done with this knife alone. This knife is excellent for making the spiral cuts to taken out the eyes of pineapple. Slice and dice garlic and onion, this little knife does it all, truly a little knife that can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Know how to use it and it will be an A+ Knife

I have bought 2 of these now. One for me and one for my buddy that is an amazing cook. It's become both of our favorites knives. I think people have the wrong idea of it in some of these reviews. It is thin. It shouldn't be used when you need something with more rigidity in the blade. It shouldn't go on the dishwasher. It's not that hard to just treat it like you should all of your higher quality knives, and just wash it by hand after use. When it comes to what you need it for, it is incredible. Super sharp, great ergonomics, and so thin for making those precise cuts. I have had veggies that I have cut with this knife mistaken for mandoline cuts. That's where it kills it. And such a great price for a knife that will likely become one of your go-to's.
