## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have an E-clip (or other type of retainer) to prevent fan blade from coming off of the motor shaft?**
A: No, it is press-fit on the motor shaft. It’s pretty snug. In my application, the fan is blowing towards the motor so it would tend to want to pull the blade away from the motor yet I haven’t had issues with the fan blade coming off

**Q: What is the CFM rate?**
A: Not sure but I would not put my finger in there.

**Q: Does this come with the motor mount?**
A: No motor mount.

**Q: Is the motor reversible ?**
A: It's a dc motor..just swap the wires ..positive to negative and negative to positive...

I’ve replaced several of these fan motors in my RV and every one of them either quits or starts squealing within a couple months, this particular motor has been running for 3 years now so I’m definitely going to give it 5 stars. If I ever need to replace another one this will be the one I choose!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong Fan Motor

It was different in every way from the original motor. The motor is bigger, (presumably more powerful and/or longer lasting). The hole it passes through the support had to be drilled out to a 1/2 inch, and the mounting screws are farther apart requiring new holes to be drilled as well. The wire clips were also different so it was necessary to use wire clips, (not supplied) to wire in the motor. I used a small zip tie to secure the wires to the bracket after testing that it works. It is louder but definitely moves more air than the previous motor. If you have the tools to install this fan and the skill, it's a good value. I spent over an hour modifying the bracket to make the motor fit. It includes a new fan blade and sturdy wire leads.
