Highest quality. I really like the chin strap design. The wire on the brim is great but will throw off a compass. The padding helps a LOT on a bright sunny day. Sturdy material. Comfortable and looks good. Fits my 59cm head well.

I've known of UF Pro's products for a number of years now, and I can say I've never been disappointed in their product lines for people involved in every facet of tactical type environments. End users have first hand knowledge of what works and what doesn't when it comes to keeping cool in the Amazonian like jungle heat, on the ocean in a boat where there's little shade, or in a hide waiting to ensnare a future meal in their sights. So when this company came out with a style of boonie hat almost identical to how I modified mine many years ago to keep me cooler in the summer, I jumped in with both feet like a paratrooper in heat! It came in and I immediately threw it on and experienced several nostalgic memories I'd made in my youth. Not only was this boonie very affordable, especially for someone on a very tight budget, (who isn't these days!?) but comfort, color availability, and fit were spot on! Living in the southeast United States, summers can get brutal with humidity driving up the 'feels like' temperatures, and add in the occasional trip east into Texas or Arizona dry heat along the border, this hat excelled in keeping the sun and sweat out of my eyes! Venting was added in all the right places for relevant air flow over the head, as well as loop fabric for identifying patches where needed. A stiff wire added to the front and rear brims adds an even better adaptability in configuring for rain water run off or throwing off the human shape element of blending camouflage. Overall a great piece of kit!

Definitely runs small... I ordered the 2XL, per previous reviews, and glad I did! It fits perfect. My true size is 7 5/8. Rides a little higher on the head than anticipated, but probably contributes to the very light and airish feel. Sculpting wire in the brim, is the solution to a problem I never knew I had. Love it! It's only in the front and back. Chin/head strap is versatile, effective, and we'll made. Good looking and feeling hat. Will see how it holds up, but I expect to be coming back for replacements and/or additional colors.

Quality exceeded my expectations. Was worth it. Washing can be done, instructions included. Able to adjust brim, size to a degree. 3 areas flog Velcro for unit patches, blood type etc. covers head so sun protection. I’d buy again

If you're grown. Get XL or XXL. Large fits my 8 year old nephew. I hope he enjoys his new $50 hat. I guess that's on me though. Nicely made product.

Best Boonie hat ever!!! This thing comes already "Boonied" as much as it needs to be. With wired brim in front and back, you can style it any way you want, which I love, because I can adjust how much coverage I have from the sun on the fly. The fit was perfect, and it was so lightweight it's almost like you aren't wearing anything. It is also very breathable for these ultra hot late summer days. Perfect for hunting, mowing, or fishing.

Awesome hat! It feels high quality and I am excited to have it for summer. I am a 7 1/4 hat size and the large fits perfectly, so it does run a little small. You can adjust the fit (make it tighter) from the cord on the back so definitely go with the larger size if you are in between sizes.

I really want to love this hat. The design, material, and quality are top notch but unfortunately the head bucket is very shallow. I usually wear a 6 7/8 so I first ordered a medium and both the circumference and head bucket was too small but I loved it so much I returned for a large immediately. The head circumference on the large for me was perfect, but again the head bucket is just too shallow. It's really almost as if this is a youth sized hat in its current form. Hopefully, the designers will look into this and if improvements are made I'll order this again ASAP. Thank you!

Great sun hat

richtig geiles Boonie, mit der Größe hatte ich etwas Schwierigkeiten, da mein Kopf komisch ist. Habe ca. 58 Kopfmaß und L jetzt. M war etwas zu eng. L ist etwas lockerer aber sitzt gut. Soll angenehm sitzen nicht zu eng. aber Verarbeitung ist TOP! und ein richtig guter Schutz. bin begeistert!
