I spent 3 nights in it and give it 4.5 stars (round up). I like that it has the mesh to keep bugs out and a cover to turn it into a bivy. I used it as a hammock but it should work fine on the ground if needed. It did not rain so I cannot comment on the waterproofing. The only complaint is the straps. They could have been looped or had a better way to attach it. I will rig it up and use a pair of tree straps I have. It's very comfortable, but you need to have a good distance between the trees or your going to slouch. It worked well in the rain, and is very compact. I recommend it for those who hike/camp.Update mid 2014. Still using this on campouts, and it's still doing the job. I consider this one of my top purchases for camping gear.
