Great rod at a great price
I bought two of these rods for salmon fishing on the Columbia River, I purchased two Okuma Line counter reels to put on them and they have proved to be a very good purchase. I have caught several salmon on them the biggest was 27 pounds and the rods and reels have worked great. Very comfortable and had great action from the poles. Highly recommend for those that want a great rod and reel at a reasonable price.

Kinda of heavy

This rod will catch fish
Great rods at great prices. I use these for a downrigger that I made. They have the perfect bend in my opinion to set that hook when the fish hits it. These are paired with okuma line counter reels. Plenty of eyelets to support the total weight. I'm not sure why others are complaining about the integrity of the rod blank. It is a great rod!

Rod eyes are poor quality
I bought 4 of these rods to put my okuma reels on, at first I loved them and they lived up to okuma's name. After about 5 trips on the water, I hooked my biggest fish of the year and the insert in the middle eye popped out and the eye cut my line, upon checking the other 3 rods, I found another one the same way, I was very disappointed because I love okuma's products, needless to say I immediately took the reels off and tossed the rods into the back of the boat. I'm now in the market for 4 new rods but unfortunately they won't be okuma's.

More broken then a girl with daddy issues
My shipping box is absolutely fine, but when I opened up the box to inspect the rod, it appeared somebody was using this fishing rod as a ladder or a step. All the eyelids were knocked out and all crushed and around the handle section was broken so if I caught one salmon with this, it would’ve snapped the rod in half anyways. I read reviews have people received these all broken and thought that can’t happen to me and it did.
