Review: Great for Electric Stovetop and the Charcoal Grill - Great griddle, thick and flat. Definitely worth buying as a pan too. It fits the largest size range on the electric stovetop so I use it for high heat cooking indoors when I'm not using it for grilling. Its heft and thickness means it doesn't warp like other pans do when putting on serious heat on the stovetop. I've had the whole surface smoking with oil several times in the past few years and it hasn't even warped once. It works great for searing meat and cooking fried eggs because of this. It's definitely got more cleaning effort than a pan, but not beyond what is expected of cast iron.

Great griddle, thick and flat. Definitely worth buying as a pan too. It fits the largest size range on the electric stovetop so I use it for high heat cooking indoors when I'm not using it for grilling. Its heft and thickness means it doesn't warp like other pans do when putting on serious heat on the stovetop. I've had the whole surface smoking with oil several times in the past few years and it hasn't even warped once. It works great for searing meat and cooking fried eggs because of this. It's definitely got more cleaning effort than a pan, but not beyond what is expected of cast iron.
