I had been going to the salon for years to cover my gray and was always afraid to try doing it myself. Well, recently we had to cut back on our expenses, and I decided to try this product. The picture on the box looked like my hair color, so I gave it a try. That was four months ago. I no longer go to the salon. It matched up perfectly and looks beautiful. I actually get more complements on my hair now. I have to keep it on for 15 to twenty minutes to really cover the grays, but it really works. I can cover my whole scalp area with one box. The best is that I start seeing the gray roots after three weeks and when I went to the salon, I would go every four weeks, which meant that for one week you would see the gray roots. Now I do my hair the second I see the gray. So no one really ever sees my gray roots. I would highly recommend this product. It has already saved me hundreds of dollars. It has also saved a lot of time. I was amazed at how well it just blended into my "professional" hair color. I am a person who goes to Amazon to read reviews before I buy anything. I hope this helps people. I actually want to tell anyone I see who has their roots showing to try this but that would be so rude. It would also put a lot of salon workers out of work because it really is so easy you will regret all the years you didn't use it.

I don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said. If you color your hair, you need this. Whether you go to a salon or DIY it at home, this product is made for you. It’s cheap, it’s fast, and it works.

The color appeared slightly darker on me that the pic ( I used dark blond shade, 07). But I love it anyway: very easy to use, does not stain. Easily covers full head ( roots). I had grey only in several spots so I got half bottle unused. Not sure if it can be used next time. But I love the results overall. Prob next time will try lighter tone just to check it up. Totally recommend

A little darker than expected

I still can't believe I never knew about this product before? I get my hair colored dark blonde. My hair is now 95% grey. One day I was doing my weekly Amazon Fresh shopping and saw this. Funny, I wasn't looking for it since I don't buy hair color kits and never knew this existed. When I saw it, I bought it because I had to try it out. The reviews were great and the concept seemed great and you can't beat the price. I thought if I could stretch out getting my hair colored by another month, that would be nice. So I picked Easter to do it before getting in the shower to get ready to go out. I was a little nervous because I thought how is this item going to match up with the hair color on my head now? So I put it on. Very easy, loved the brush applicator. The only "little" negative was they only give you a small amount to use. So you better pick carefully what you're going to color. For me, it was all around my face and on top of my head where all the gray outgrowth is visible. I left it on 15 min, got into the shower and when I came out, dried off, looked in the mirror I WAS AMAZED! My hair all matched and you couldn't tell where one color started or ended. Perfect match! I think my husband and my Mom were sick of hearing about this after a while today. So I just purchased 4 more boxes. Two of the same color and two of one shade lighter (med. blonde) in case I go one shade lighter for summer. (which I usually do) Now we'll see how long it stays in. I would highly recommend this item!

Great color and quick n easy to use at home. Saves me $$ at hairdresser and looks better than professional grade she uses

This was awful. I got the Number 7 dark blonde. My hair is dark blonde. It turned my hair to a brassy orangish pink. I put a ton of purple color drops on after but it barely did anything, still have this brassy orange hue. I wish I'd never used it. Prior to that, about a week before, I had used Kristin Ess Smoky Topaz and it came out so beautiful but it didn't cover those stubborn greys. I thought I could use this to cover those. It did a bit, still did not get all, but mostly the orange color is atrocious. I am ordering more Kristin Ess and hoping it can cover this over. This also felt terrible, stinging and very strong odor. And there's NO follow up conditioner. This is just a small amount of full, permanent, cheap hair dye, with no deep conditioner after. My scalp felt like it was burning and still is a bit sensitive a day after using it. Update: a few months later, nothing has really worked to take the orange out. It’s grown out about an inch now and there’s a line where my blonde stops and the orange brass begins. I must have tried over $500 in products all claiming to correct the orange or brass, and they did nothing. Save yourself from this, don’t buy!

This definitely works fast (10 minutes as opposed to 30 minutes or more with other products) but the results seem uneven. Although I chose dark blonde as usual, the result was much darker than usual on everything except the roots and it took several shampoos to lighten up and look "natural." Also, this product seems to stain non hair items much more quickly so be sure to carefully protect anything you don't want stained. But it also seems to fade much more quickly. I'm going to stick with my usual product -- it takes longer but I'm much happier with the more reliable results.

Not covered grey hair in 10 minutes I continue checking I kept 40 minutes slightly color came not fully covered and I ordered dark blonde color came black not satisfied loriel products im using but this one not like that which mentioned
