A: Use wesson oil. About 1/4 inch fill.

**Q: What type of oil do you use in these?**
A: I use vegetable oil

**Q: Does this come with the oil?**
A: Not with oil，dear friend

**Q: Are you supposed to put something in this?**
A: Fill 1/2 to 3/4 with vegetable oil and place one or two between frames in a hive, beetles crawl in and they don’t crawl out (drown-smother in the oil)

I filled them up with mineral oil and place two on either side of the bees hive and they do very getting the wax beetles trapped. So far the wax beetle population dropped dramatically and saved the hives, they did as I wanted to do 👍
