I put it in about 4 cups of distilled water and that did last me a few hours. You do have to wait for the thing to cool off to add more water which was not really a problem. It also can clean floors, etc! There was a couple things that bothered me that everywhere on the box mentions that it is for bedbugs and that was very embarrassing as we have a UPS mailbox. I am also using a propane heater and a remote laxer temperature, diatomaceous earth, bedbug spray, foggers at hot water washing, and of course the dryer! I am already seeing results. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pricey, but works...kinda.. *by E***Z on February 1, 2026* Update - 2/3/26 : Machine is stuck in the fire position, in other words - always steaming Not sure if the faulty safety switch or something wrong with the trigger.. Annoying because it takes forever to just stop it. Updated to 3 stars, what’s the point if I can’t get it to steam when I need it , or it runs the full tank because its always just steaming... Original - As a non professional, who had no choice and had to destroy these little suckers, I purchased the eradicator and am quite happy. You can really feel the difference in heat in comparison to other steamers. The little supplied gloves do nothing for the steam that sometimes comes around your hands and arms when getting close to something while steaming…so you definitely need some heavy duty thermal or silicone gloves. The unit heats up relatively quickly steam is plentiful and gets into all the creases…although I do notice, it needs a minute after steaming for a a minute to keep the amount of steam at full volume. My biggest complaint is the locking mechanism on the gun itself. I’ve read the manual and there's no mention of the little switch and correct use, but the button is almost always inadvertently being activated, and the unit gets “stuck” in the firing position shooting steam, where it’s almost impossible to get it to stop. I’ve included a video as an example…it can get quite annoying. Considering I have to use thicker silicone gloves to not burn myself, I find myself always inadvertently firing steam when moving the gun. Overall good machine.
