The darker color variation is predominantly a dark brownish gray color with red/white/dark brown/light brown patterned court cards, and the lighter deck is a blue-gray metallic color, with a red/white/light gray/dark gray palette. Personally, I much prefer the lighter color for its rarity in playing cards and for its better match with the robot theme.The card back resembles a circuit board, with lines, circles, and squares assembled fairly haphazardly to create a generic robotic aesthetic. The court card robot designs are a playful throwback to the classic robots of decades past, reminiscent of the machines from Metropolis, pulp magazine covers from the 1930s, Asimov's robots, Robby the Robot and a host of vintage Japanese toys, and most recently, Futurama. My favorite designs are the domeheaded robots on the spades and the jokers, goofy smiling robots with missing teeth, googly eyes and holding giant rattles. I think their circuits may have been rained on a few times.The only negative to these cards are that the court cards are too chaotic. Aside from the heads and hands, the bodies are indiscernible masses of shapes and colors, and some designs have poor differentiation between the jacks, queens and kings.Overall, this is a visually interesting deck that will spice up any card game. The cards have the high standard of printing and performance of Bicycle's standard decks. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun pattern, warped quickly *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2014* These cards were very slick at first, but broke in nicely and have a great feel to them. I also loved the inventive but subdued robot and circuit board pattern. Unfortunately, the next time I went to use the cards they were warped. If they were on one side only the corners would touch the table, if they were on the other only the center would touch the table. I don't know that this is really a problem with the quality of the product: from what I read it seems to be a widespread problem with cards in general. I left a deck with half the cards facing each direction under a pile of books for a few days and they straightened out. ### ⭐⭐ Did Not Care For These *by O***I on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2016* I originally bought these for the fantastic, quirky royalty cards, so that part is fine. It may just be the decks I got, but they handle terribly. The cards are incredibly stiff, even after plenty of break-in; faro shuffles are way harder than they should be; and the cards clump during fans, springs, and dribbling.
