Finishing the job is so easy with the "Slide-Trak Hose Guide", it coils the hose properly when I turn the crank as fast as I can.The storage compartment is convenient. I ordered it with the storage compartment because it has a shorter lead time for delivery. The swivel base is a little clunky: you have to apply a fair amount of force to make it "unlock". Our winter temps get below 0 at times so I was concerned about cracking, but there is not even a hint of failure. I think it would be much preferred to bring it in during the winter months, but we just don't have that option. I am on a fixed income and getting one for the backyard is not in the budget, but maybe someday! Rolling the hose up is a piece of cake once the watering is done.
