Very robust, should last forever. Review: Easy looping - A big step up from the rc30 , the rc500 delivers big time .Looping is easy and the sound quality is much improved. I use it on my solo set and works great. The onboard drums sound pretty good but that’s what I found the most time consuming and to be quit honest difficult . On my live set I use a beat buddy drum pedal and use the midi contriols in the settings which makes life a little easier. It is good to be have an amplifier to get the right volume though. You do need some headphones to listen to the sound you are producing.
