Review: It's always bacon time now!! - If you want to fry up perfectly even bacon, this is the best thing ever! Speeds up cooking time as well since the entire surface area of the bacon is touching the pan. Also if you ever make sliders in a pan or a flat top, this is great for keeping them from cinching up. You can make your patties the exact size of your bun and they turn out perfect. Again because you are keeping the meat flat to the surface and thin, cooking time is cut in half. Treat it just like any other cast iron product - don't use harsh soap (no soap is better) and season it right after it's cleaned. My wife used it once and it was covered in rust the next day, so it took me some time to get it back to original shape.

If you want to fry up perfectly even bacon, this is the best thing ever! Speeds up cooking time as well since the entire surface area of the bacon is touching the pan. Also if you ever make sliders in a pan or a flat top, this is great for keeping them from cinching up. You can make your patties the exact size of your bun and they turn out perfect. Again because you are keeping the meat flat to the surface and thin, cooking time is cut in half. Treat it just like any other cast iron product - don't use harsh soap (no soap is better) and season it right after it's cleaned. My wife used it once and it was covered in rust the next day, so it took me some time to get it back to original shape.
