The original equipment seems to function correctly. HOWEVER, THE EXPANSION KIT did not work. I double checked the new batteries, polarity. NONE of the buzzers activated the main equipment. Furthermore, the only troubleshooting help in the written materials (You can't call it a manual.) was to get the help of "the dealeror an experienced radio/TV technician" with an additional "NOTE: The iser is cautioned that changes & modifications made to the eqipmet withot the approval of manufasturer could void the user;s authority to operate this equipment." I gave this 1 star for looking pretty.
