I bought this so I could learn the craft and I love it. It's super easy to work with and makes a lovely yarn. It's quite soft and feels lovely. I gave some to a friend who is also learning to spin, and she really likes it as well. I will buy more of this as I progress in skill since it is so reasonably priced.In addition, I found the amount of roving to be far more than I had expected.I would imagine that a more accomplished spinner would be able to make some beautiful yarn with this roving. For me, it makes a very pretty, albeit lumpy 'art yarn'. I appreciate how evenly the fibers are laid out, and the drafting was smooth for me. The wool is very clean and there’s no debris or discoloration. The color is consistent, natural undyed wool color. I have not tried dyeing this wool but may try in the future. The staple length is about 4-5 inches.
