**Q: does it work with filbert nuts?**
A: Those have a very hard shell. I would not recommend it. Best for other nuts. The cracker works great all around.

**Q: Does this work on salty nutz?**
A: Not sure what a SALTY NUTZ is ... But works great on most.  From Walnuts to Hazel Nuts.  Smaller nuts like a hazel nuts work great as the shell displacement stays within the jaws of the cracker.

IMHO ... This is a very good nut cracker.

A: I have no idea if it will crack peach seeds. I'm curious why you are cracking them. :) It is pretty tough--it might, but definitely not advertised to do so.

A: No, it isn't at all messy. It catches the shell neatly and is genuinely the BEST nutcracker I've ever used.

I was looking for a sturdy nutcracker that wouldn't bend or break with the first walnut, and this one definitely delivers. Build Quality: It feels very solid ("Heavy Duty" is the perfect description) and doesn't flex at all under pressure Ergonomics: The non-slip handles provide a great grip, making it easy to use without needing a lot of hand strength Design: Thanks to the two different sized openings, it handles everything from large walnuts to smaller hazelnuts perfectly without them slipping out (you can see this in my video) The leverage is so good that you don't need much force. It’s also quite stylish for a kitchen tool!
