Our innovative design allows up to 2" of additional water depth than conventional drains for a deeper, more relaxing soak. ABS construction with pop-up style drain operation. Fits all conventional style drain applications. From the Manufacturer A universal design that suits most standard bathtubs, the Deep Soak bath drain features a unique top-mount overflow that allows a water level two inches deeper than with standard bath drains. It has a tap-actuated pop-up drain stopper, ABS construction and is shown in bone.

Review: Works well. - Seals well and blends in with the white tub. Gets you a couple more inches of water for maximum deep soaking. Worth it if you like to completely submerge in a bath.
Review: most universal fixture I have found for whirlpools or regular tubs - great flexible design. I trimmed the main tube by 1.5 in to be able to fit an older version of the AS whirlpool. Treat it gently when installing and I believe it will work well much longer than the metal versions. Use silicone on gaskets for a better seal. retighten the 2 screws on top after 10 minutes and when done with the work as the rubber gaskets may compress and offer a little more space to tighten the screw. Do it by hand though as you don't want to break apart the poly material cover the screws go through. Fit flexibility and ways to mount horizontally or vertically is unmatched on any other option. Make sure to use plenty of putty on the screw on drain piece and use the proper torque wrench to tighten it up. Make sure to use a spacer on the bottom to keep the center tub aligned with the vertical tube. Don't rely on the vertical tube to keep it in place as that puts a lot of stress on connections when tightening the drain piece to be able to seal well and press out the excess putty.

I purchased the brushed nickel and it's holding up well after several months. Im impressed with how easy it is to keep clean and the added bath depth is fantastic. The plastic quality is questionable, my first one broke during installation, hopefully this lasts because it would be a pain to replace. At this price point, they should be offering higher quality materials.
