Also this thing is cheap. Mine fell apart the first time I used it. **Q: The mylar film I was sent is not wrapping around the metal and backing. Could it be that the mylar is not the right size? I ordered the 32mm version.** A: The mylar received with my machine worked perfectly. **Q: Can this machine be used for fabric and not just paper? Looked and couldn't find anything on this. Any help would be appreciated.** A: You can try but cut it smaller than the actual button paper a little. I would use thin fabric, not thick. **Q: can i use fabric top with a ribbon hanging from it ? ( like those buttons #1)** A: Maybe if it’s very thin fabric. It regularly gets stuck with paper so I could definitely see that being a more constant issue with fabric. It is made of plastic but still feels sturdy enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Button Maker Once You Figure Out the Right Paper and steps *by on Reviewed in the United States May 24, 2026* I bought the 3" button maker with absolutely no experience, and I didn’t find very clear instructions, so I wanted to share what worked for me!1) Don’t use regular copy paper.The quality wasn’t great. Regular glossy photo paper was actually too thick. I ended up using thin glossy photo paper and it was PERFECT!2) I designed my buttons in Canva using a 3-inch circle template.3) I printed using high-quality photo settings and the colors came out great!4) When using the circle cutter, keep in mind it cuts slightly larger than your design. Try your best to center it. I rotated mine 3 times just to make sure I got a clean cut.5) Follow the instructions for placing the pieces into the machine.
