## Description

Product Description Nature babycare Chlorine-Free Diapers, Size 4 (15-40lbs), 108 count .com Nature Babycare Diapers are 100-percent chlorine-free and keep oil-based plastics away from babies delicate skin. Our absorbent pulp is from sustainably harvested Scandinavian forests and the patented center-channel means a less bulky fit while enhancing leak protection. Since we use 60-percent natural materials instead of plastic, our diapers are super soft and cloth-like providing comfort without sacrificing protection.Leading the Way in Europe Nature Babycare is a Swedish-based company founded by a pioneering mum 14 years ago who thought the world deserved a better diaper! Marlene Sandberg was appalled to learn that babies will produce half a ton of diapers every year. Half a ton! So she sought to create a range of award-winning diapers and baby products which are effective and price competitive --making Nature Babycare products good for both babies and the environment. We are the trusted source for baby products among consumers and the green community. Nature Babycare is leading the industry in Europe by providing mum's with a high-performance diaper that is better for their babies and the environment. Why We're Award-Winning Our diapers and pull-on pants are over 60-percent biodegradable in contrast to major brands which are often composed of up to 80-percent oil-based products which do not decompose easily. Conventional diapers can take hundreds of years to decompose, but because of the high content of bio-degradable material, ours break down in a fraction of that time, meaning there's less need for landfill or polluting incineration. We keep oil-based plastics away from babies delicate skin and use natural, breathable corn-based materials instead. Our patented center-channel reduces the need for bulky absorbent material while enhancing leak protection. Nature Babycare Diapers are 100-percent chlorine-free, protecting the environment by not producing harmful dioxin pollution. All of this combined minimizes diaper rash and other irritations so that your baby is healthy and happy! With features such as stretchy tabs and leg gatherings, a soft cloth-like feel, and non-bulky absorbent pulp, we've created an award-winning diaper that performs ahead of the rest. Our founding principle was to give mum's a high performance diaper that is better for their baby and better for the environment. We strive to use renewable materials whenever possible in all of our product lines. Nature Babycare Diapers offer the convenience of disposables with the best attributes. What Makes Us Unique Other diapers can claim to be green but still use massive amounts of oil-based plastics. As a mum, our founder knew there had to be a better way to make diapers. That's why we've spent many years perfecting our diapers by eliminating as much non-biodegradable materials as possible while maintaining performance and comfort. We also use an absorbent pulp that is sustainably harvested out of Scandinavian forests. Our diapers are completely unbleached, contain no latex, fragrance, or TBT (tributyltin), and are hypo-allergenic. As with any diaper, for maximum performance, when your baby reaches the upper limits of the weight class, we recommend that you switch to the next larger size. .com and the manufacturer have teamed up to offer this item in Frustration-Free Packaging, a recyclable, easy-to-open alternative to traditional packaging. Products in Frustration-Free Packaging are exactly the same--we've just streamlined the packaging. A Frustration-Free Package comes without excess packaging materials such as wire ties, hard plastic "clamshell" casings, and plastic bindings. It's designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife and will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging. Products with Frustration-Free Packaging can frequently be shipped in their own boxes, without the need for an additional shipping box. Learn more about Frustration-Free Packaging.

Solid performer, not comfy for my son

*by F***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2013*

Whether or not you (or your child) likes these diapers will really depend on your "diaper history". I can tell you that coming from mainstream diapers, these are a little different.I wanted to be a cloth diaper user, and stuck it out for 6 months after my son was born, but I liked the concept better than the execution. So began my search for my preferred disposable. First up was Earth's Best, and I had nothing but leaks. We tried Huggies Pure and Natural, Huggies Little Movers, Huggies Snug and Dry, Seventh Generation, Luvs, Pampers Baby Dry, Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Cruisers, Nurtured by Nature, and Target store brand. My favorite eco-friendly diaper is definitely Nurtured by Nature. If you find these Naty diapers a little too different for your taste, you might give those a whirl. Otherwise, I like Target and Pampers.Size? I sized up to a 5 with these. My son wears a 4 in all others. People kept saying they run small. I disagree. When I compared the 5 to a Pampers 5 I saw no difference. I could have gotten away with a 4.Poop? Yeah, they hold poop. My son, at 16 months, still has what you'd call "peanut butter poop". It is not formed or slightly solid. This makes it easier for the poop to escape the diaper in the leg area. I have not had an issue with these at all with poop, even during an ear infection when he had diarrhea. My only complaint is that the diaper doesn't really fold up easily into a neat little package after a change, you have to fasten the tabs together to get that to happen. They don't stick to the outside of the diaper itself. So be careful on the way to the trash!Pee? Yep, they hold pee, and they hold a good amount. My son is a heavy wetter. These did not hold up at night. We use Huggies Overnights, which only work about 50% of the time *sigh*. Nothing else even matches that statistic, sadly.Fit? They fit my tall and thin son ok. He is roughly 33 inches and 25 lbs. The pad inside does seem to get bunched up more than say a Huggie or Pamper, but they don't seem to shift too much, and my son is very active. The diaper is wider through the crotch, which my son finds uncomfortable. He is always pulling at his diaper now. I think there is too much padding between his legs, and he is not used to it. Maybe if he was used to cloth and we switched to these, it would be different. Pampers are less bulky in the crotch area and he seems to like them better.Price? These are more expensive than Pampers, Huggies, and Seventh Generation, and way more than store brand. But if they do what they say they do, allow the skin to breathe, biodegrade, keep chemicals off my baby, then I guess the extra money is worth it. You have to decide if these features are worth the extra 7-10 cents per diaper (using subscribe and save).I like that they are made from safe materials and that if i were to put them in a biodegradable trash bag, they would break down in less than 10 years. I also like that they are the only disposable that I have found that allow air to circulate in and out. My son has had quite a few severe diaper rashes during teething times and I'm hoping these help with that. I also like the plain look of the diaper. I don't care for the cartoon characters you find on most brands, and I didn't care for the look of the brown Seventh Generation that much either. I like white. To me, diapers=white. They do feel weird. They feel stiffer and not as soft as Pampers. Maybe I've just been using Pampers too long, but it is hard to get used to how stiff they feel. This does help my son's pants stay up (he has no butt) because they are not slippery on the outside. The other diapers are definitely more plasticky.I like them, but since my son doesn't seem to find them comfy I think this case will be my only purchase. If he gets more used to them as we use them more, I might try a 4 next time. Overall a good diaper, but I don't think they are for everyone.

They work well, but will never buy again.

*by C***7 on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2013*

First, these diapers work really well - no leaks whatsoever. They work better than other leading non-natural brands that I have tried. I was SOLD on these diapers until a couple of things happened... On a side note, I have twin 2 year old girls who both wore these diapers. The first thing that happened was that the diapers fall apart easily. Example; I was trying to pull a diaper out of the new pack in the middle of the night. I caught a diaper just slightly with my finger and accidentally poked a hole in it (not hard to do) - the 'guts' went everywhere. The diapers have also deteriorated if they get too full (like during nap time) or my girls try to pull them off. The 'guts' have come out of several diapers; it's incredibly messy. This is worse than any other brand I've tried. The second problem is the biggest reason why I will never buy these again. One of my daughters has very sensitive skin. These diapers have something in them that greatly irritated her skin. Until I realized that the diapers were the issue, she had terrible scratch marks all over her bum. We stopped using the diapers (not changing anything else) and she was fine.Again, I think these diapers work great and I like that they are a more natural option. But due to the two issues (mostly the second issue) mentioned above, I'm switching to Bambo diapers. They are more expensive, but work just as well without the issues we had with the Naty diapers.

Loved it, Hated it, and Switched Back for my Daughter

*by B***G on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2011*

After using this brand of diapers for two-and-a-half years (since 2009) on my two children, I switched to other brands (I tried 7th Gen, Huggies Pure & Natural, and Regular Huggies) because both kids had severe rashes from a batch that we got last October through November 2012. Although the diapers performed well over the years for the most part, I had an issue with the back band and side seams irritating my son ever so often. He constantly scratched his back and butt to the point that he would cut his skin. I attributed it to eczema. However, when I had his sister wear his diapers because we ran out of her size, she started to itch in the same places too. Something in the diapers were irritating them; perhaps even causing the eczema.Another issue I found with the batches in the last half of 2012 were tabs that ripped off easily or even missing ones. Considering the costs of the diapers, and especially that they cut back in the quantity of the size sixes, I wasn't happy about the quality that I was getting.Around that time, my children developed allergic reactions to the Nature Babycare wipes too. I stopped purchasing this brand altogether, and I was really disappointed. However, when I tried 7th Gen, their rashes got really bad again for over a month. I did everything I could--more frequent diaper changes, protection with ointment, prescription medicine--and my kids had no relief. I was very hesitant to try other brands because they weren't chlorine-free or biodegradable, but I went ahead and got the Huggies Pure and Natural out of desperation. That worked well for my son; my daughter continued to get rashes. So I switched back to Nature Baby Care diapers for my daughter and she's doing much better now after using it again for the last four months.
